In April 2019, a new European Standard was published under the name "Fall-absorbing playground surfaces - Methods for determining impact absorption". It specifies both parameters regarding measuring equipment and methods for determining impact absorption for the tested surface. The standard PN-EN 1177+AC:2019-04 it is also applicable to surfaces other than those used on playgrounds - for example, outdoor gyms.
