Why is it worth using WS Play grass protection Mats on the playground?
Everyone knows this view:
Trampled paths under the carousel or under the swings are standard on many playgrounds and neighborhood backyards.
It is not an aesthetic sight.
What's more, after even light rainfall, such trampled "pancakes" immediately turn into muddy puddles, which in turn makes it impossible to reach and use the equipment on the playground.
In turn, on sunny days, during children's play, clouds of dust are raised, which settle on clothes and are also inhaled by children.
The trampled and compacted earth does not provide any cushioning in the event of a fall. In the madness of fun, it is easy to have misfortune.
It is the responsibility of adults to ensure children's safety and create a place that is friendly to play, without fear of harm to children.
We would like to see such playgrounds disappear from Polish cities and towns, replaced or supplemented with modern solutions.
It doesn't take much effort to turn any playground into a safe and child-friendly place.
Any playground, even one that has existed "forever" and has not changed its form for years, can be modernized and its safety standards significantly increased.
Our WS Play grass protection Mats are a very popular solution due to their usability, durability and safety, which is confirmed by three European certificates!
A playground with our mats is a nicer place because the grass growing through the mats grows evenly and does not clump together. The possibility of trampled "patties" of bare earth is drastically reduced, so not only does the entire area look more attractive, but puddles do not form.
A playground with WS Play mats is a safer place because our mats have three European safety certificates: anti-slip, critical fall height (over 3 m!) and flame retardant.
The WS Play playground with a safe surface is a modern place because the modern solutions used ensure maximum safety and aesthetics of the facility, while maintaining low costs and incredible ease of installation.
How is it done? It's simple!
Our WS Play grass protection Mats are rubber mats with dimensions of 1m x 1.5m x 23mm available in two colors: black and green.
The mats are placed on leveled ground, on grass that has already grown and been mowed briefly, or on grass that has just been sown. The mats are attached to the ground using pegs (plastic pins) and connected together with the so-called cable ties. After a few weeks, the growing grass covers the mats tightly and creates an even, lush green carpet that pleases the eye. (Click to download detailed assembly instructions)
It takes a really keen eye to notice our mats under the grass:
